Additionally, I was on the faculty of the Niroga Institute (www.niroga.org) Yoga Teacher and Therapy Training Programs. I have spent a few years teaching yoga to at-risk youth and people healing from illness and recovering from addiction, as well as training others to work with these specialized populations. I have also enjoyed being a Clinical Supervisor of interns and trainees going through the licensure process.
For the past 20 years, I have been teaching mindful movement classes, workshops, and retreats as a way to reduce stress, learn coping strategies for emotion regulation, and build resiliency. Most recently, I have been co-teaching Day-long retreats and have been the movement teacher at residential retreats at Spirit Rock in Woodacre, CA.
I am currently providing tele-therapy for clients residing in CA and meeting with clients in-person as well in Oakland CA.
